Top Baby Names 2009
The Social Security Administration has released the list of the Top Baby Names 2009. There is not much change from the 2008 list, #1 name for boys is Jacob and #1 for girls is Emma. Jacob has been at number one for 10 years and Emma recently jumped to number one this year.

Some interesting facts on the list this year are for example that the name Barack went up 10,000 spots and is expected to be withing the top 1,000 next year. The name Khloe (Khloe Kardashian popularity) also gained popularity going from number 665 to 196 on the list. And of course the teen idol name Miley went up on the list to number 127, which is amazing considering that this is the first time the name appears on the list!
