Chuck Daly Dies at 78
Reports confirm that the legendary NBA coach Chuck Daly passed away at 78 years old due to pancreatic cancer.
Chuck Daly coached the Dream Team in the Olympics of 92′ winning the gold medal as well as consecutive NBA championships with the Detroit Pistons. Chuck Daly died this Saturday morning with his family by his side in Jupiter, Florida.
Chuck Daly was also honored in being in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Many remember his amazing coaching abilities as he once said:
“It’s a players’ league. They allow you to coach them or they don’t. Once they stop allowing you to coach, you’re on your way out.”
