The official photo of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger has been released for the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street Remake.
In the original 1984 film Robert Englund played Freddy Krueger but this time the job passed on to Jackie Earle Haley.
You can’t see much in the image since it is really shadowed. The image was released on Myspace saying:

But when we heard that ‘Watchmen’ star Jackie Earle Haley was taking on the roll, we knew this re-imagining of the classic slasher was off to the right start.
