Many people weren’t able to watch the Dana White Press Conference live so here is a recap of the highlights of this UFC press conference on July 31.
*Vitor Belfort vs Rich Franklin will be the main event of UFC 103.
*The company signed a three-year deal with ESPN in the UK – starts with UFC 101 in Philadelphia.
*Tito Ortiz has re-signed with the company.
*Dan Lauzon, Ben Rothwell, Chase Gormley, and Paul Daley all coming to the UFC.
*Dan Henderson is next in line for a shot at the middleweight title held by Anderson Silva. Silva will be taking on Forrest Griffin in a light heavyweight bout at the Wachovia Center on August 8.
*White on Fedor: ” We tried everything that we could possibly do to get Fedor in the UFC – we went above and beyond. They did not want to take the deal. I guarantee they won’t be offered a better deal.”
