Taconic Crash – Driver was Drunk

The deadly Taconic accident was caused my a New York mom who as driving the wrong-way because she was intoxicated and high on marijuana, according to autopsy reports.

Diane Schuler, 36 years old, was the mom who was driving a minivan as she came back from camping trip. She crashed due to driving the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway. When the autopsy results came in it reveals the Diane Schuler had high levels of alcohol and marijuana in her system.

Diane Schuler crashed into another car driven by Guy Bastardi who died along with his father Michael Bastardi and a family friend Daniel Longo. Diane Schuler was also killed along with her daugher Erin Schuler, her 3 nieces Emma (8), Alyson (7) and Kate (5) Hance. The only survivor was her son Bryan Shuler, 5 years old, who is currently recovering at the Westchester Medical Center.

This is truly a horrible accident where many innocent lives where taken due to the irresponsibility of Diane Schuler.
