Whole Foods Boycott
Many are supporting a Whole Foods Boycott after Whole Foods CEO John Mackey wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal against the Obama Health Care Plan.

Many people who do believe in the Obama health care plan will be boycotting the organic food store. John Mackey even argued that health care wouldn’t be necessary if we ate right! Here is a quote of what Mackey said:
Recent scientific and medical evidence shows that a diet consisting of foods that are plant-based, nutrient dense and low-fat will help prevent and often reverse most degenerative diseases that kill us and are expensive to treat. We should be able to live largely disease-free lives until we are well into our 90s and even past 100 years of age.
Either way, many of us may join the Whole Foods Boycott but then again many of us can’t afford to even shop at Whole Foods, so it’s off to the Mc Donal’s $1 Dollar Menu! What do you think about the Whole Foods Boycott?

John Mackey is clearly following the precepts of the late Dr. Milton Friedman’s economic theories. They have been an absolute disaster in every country in which they have been used, leading to mass murders, a wider chasm between rich and poor and an oligarchy of corporate heads who collaborate with politicians and the military for the sole sake of profit. This pretty much describes our current health system for profit.
