Shawne Merriman is an NFL player more specifically the the San Diego Chargers linebacker. Merriman’s girlfriend is TV reality star Tila Tequila. The two where spotted earlier having a “good time” but later on Sunday night Tila Tequila called the police claiming she had been choked by Merriman and that he wasn’t letting her leave his home. Shawne Merriman has since been released from custody.
