Kim Phuc Phan Thai is now 46 years old and lives in Canada. She spoke about her burns which where very painful. Although her face was untouched the napalm caused third degree burns on her back and arms, about 65 percent of her body was burned. Kim Phuc Phan Thai said “I should be dead.”
The Kim Phuc Phan Thai Photo was taken by Nick Ut, photographer for the AP, and he won a Pulitzer prize for the photo.
