Susan Klebold Essay
Susan Klebold is the mother of Dylan who was one of the shooters of the Columbine school shooting and she recently had her essay published in Oprah’s magazine “O”.
In her essay Klebold says that she didn’t realize that her son was suicidal or depressed and that is why she titled it “I will Never Know Why.”
“For the rest of my life, I will be haunted by the horror and anguish Dylan caused. I cannot look at a child in a grocery store or on the street without thinking about how my son’s schoolmates spent the last moments of their lives. Dylan changed everything I believed about myself, about God, about family, and about love.”
