Nobel Peace Prize for President Obama
President Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today, December 10, 2009, Thursday, not long after he has ordered 30,000 troops to Afghanistan and set a date for American troops to leave Iraq. The President does acknowledge that he cannot follow in the great footsteps of peace bringers of the past Nobel Peace Prize winners, but that he does want security and peace for the world.
