Hillary Clinton got angry on camera after a student asked her what Mr. Clinton thought about a Chinese trade deal with the Republic of Congo. Hillary Clinton was enraged!

Later she learned that it was just a translation error. The Congolese student was asking what President Obama thought about the deal.

Sotomayor Swearing In Supreme Court

Sonia Sotomayor became the 111th swearing in to the Supreme Court. This was a special event because of she is the 1st Hispanic justice and 1st court member to have her swearing-in to be televised.

Sotomayor took an oath promising to “administer justice without respect to persons and do equal right to the poor and to the rich.”

Sotomayor will also be introduced at the White House on Wednesday and there will be a formal investiture ceremony on September 8th held by the Supreme Court.

Mel Martinez Resigning

Senator Mel Martinez announced that he will be resigning.

Mel Martinez announced to his staff that he will not be returning to the Senate after the August recess.

Martinez was the only Hispanic Republican in the senate. He will be formally announcing his resignation on Friday in a news conference in Orlando.

Mel Martinez said in a letter obtained by FOX News:
“My priorities have always been my faith, my family and my country and at this stage in my life, and after nearly 12 years of public service in Florida and Washington, it’s time I return to Florida and my family.”

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesman Eric Schultz responded saying:
“Republicans seem to have a problem fulfilling their oaths of office. This is the largest number of retirements for one party in the Senate in the past 80 years.”

There has been lots of controversy over the new Obama Health Care Logo.

Some people claim that the new Obama Health Care logo resembles the German National Socialist symbol.

The similarity is between symbol featured on the logo that is often used to symbolize the medical profession.

Although the symbols may look alike, many don’t think it is a cause of alarm. The caduceus has long been a symbol of medicine and dates back to ancient Greece times.

Cash for Clunkers List

The Cash for Clunkers program maybe gone by Friday if no more cash is put into the program.

So far the the House has approved $2 billion more for the Cash for Clunkers program but now it is awaiting the approval from the Senate.
