Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all our readers!

We would like to start thanking you, our readers, for visiting and using our website. This is a great day to share with our families and friends and to thank.

We want to share some Thanksgiving inspiration quotes with you:

“Life is a beautiful step into a thankful world.”, “Thanksgiving, giving thanks for each breath that passes.”, “If you offer a hand, another returns with thankful wishes.”

And finally this music video in commemoration of this very special day:

The Presidential Pardoning of a Thanksgiving Turkey

A lucky turkey named Courage was spared from being slaughtered this
holiday season. Sticking to tradition that President George Bush Sr. made
official in 1989, President Obama pardoned Courage, a 45 pound turkey.
Courage was chosen by Malia and Sasha, the daughters of President Obama.
The second turkey up was named Carolina. Every year, two turkeys are
chosen. After Courage and Carolina  received their pardons, both birds
were transported to live the California dream at Disneyland.
“There are certain days that remind me why I ran for this office,” smiled
Mr Obama. “Then there are moments like this when I pardon a turkey and
send it to Disneyland.”

Every year World Against Toys Causing Harm (W.A.T.C.H.) releases a list of
the worse toys that have  potential to cause childhood injuries, or even
death.  Among the items on the 2009 list were products that the group said
could cause serious eye or head injuries, choking or strangulation. The
toys included a Disney-Pixar Wall-E foam rocket launcher, a Dark Knight
Batman action figure from Mattel, and an X-Men Origins Slashin’ Action
Wolverine action figure from Hasbro. Since 1972, founder Edward M. Swartz
and W.A.T.C.H. have exposed potentially dangerous toys to the general
public.

Jennifer Lopez Had an Embarrassing Landing at the AMAs

During Sunday night’s American Music Awards ceremony, Jennifer Lopez experienced an embarrassing moment while performing her new song “Louboutins.” During the live performance, Lopez walked up the backs of five dancers that were assembled like steps then attempted to jump off and land gracefully on the floor. Unfortunately for Lopez, it wasn’t such a graceful landing when she landed straight on her rear end. Jennifer Lopez kept her composure as she jumped up and kept performing as if nothing had happened. If you live on the west coast and missed the mishap, that is because ABC decided to edit it out for later time zones. A statement from ABC stated “Regarding Jennifer Lopez, execs and producers felt it was respectful to Ms. Lopez to edit the mishap for later time zones.”
