Teddy Pendergrass Dies
Soul R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass died yesterday in Pennsylvania. He was just 59. He had colon cancer and was being treated for it since August at the Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania. He led a successful career in the music industry with several solo albums, and began his career as the lead singer in the band Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.
