Governor Mark Sanford admitted to having an affair with a women from Argentina. Although he didn’t say who many people assume that is is  Maria Belen Chapur.

Maria Belan Chapur, 43 years old, is the woman who has stole Sanford’s heart. Mark Sanford’s wife, Jenny Sanford, has forgiven him.

Jenny Sanford was recently interviewed by Vogue, here is a portion of the interview:

For now, the first lady of South Carolina is groping for the high road and trying to keep an open mind. “If you don’t forgive,” she says, “you become angry and bitter. I don’t want to become that. I am not in charge of revenge. That’s not up to me. That’s for the Lord to decide, and it’s important for me to teach that to my boys. All I can do is forgive. Reconciliation is something else, and that is going to be a harder road. I have put my heart and soul into being a good mother and wife. Now I think it’s up to my husband to do the soul-searching to see if he wants to stay married. The ball is in his court.”

Myrtle Beach Wild Fires

Myrtle Beach Wild Fires – A wild fire around North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina has caused lots of damage to homes and many are being evacuated.

So far there are 40 homes reported to be burned down by the wild fires in South Carolina. An estimated 2,500 people are being evacuated from their homes as they are in danger of these blazing fires that have spread across North Myrtle Beach.

There is no news yet as to what caused this wild fire to start. Mark Sanford, Governer of South Carolina said on the Sun-News:

This fire is continuing to spread, and it’s incredibly important that people near the affected area pay close attention to emergency announcements and news outlets about developments with this disaster.
