Last night American Idol kicked off its 9th season in Boston, Massachusetts. Guest celebrity judge, Victoria “Posh” Beckham was pleasant and had something nice to say about everyone no matter how strange they looked or how bad their singing. It’s the first one without Paula Abdul, who quit over a salary disagreement.
Paula Abdul Twittered that she will be leaving American Idol!
It took several tweets by Abdul got the message accross, she won’t be back for the next season of American Idol. Here is what Paula Abdul twittered:
“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll be miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1 become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.”
