Conan’s Staff is Infuriated with NBC

Some of Conan O’Brien’s highest paid employees might stay with him if he lands another job on TV. Conan will be getting about $33 million in his exit package and his staff is getting about $12 million in total. His staff is extremely upset with NBC.

Conan Leaving NBC Show

Conan O’Brien is officially leaving his late night show The Tonight Show. The last show will be Friday with Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks. Conan signed a deal with NBC to leave. He showed his gratitude to his staff and crew by offering more money (aside from their severance pay) from his pocket.

Aftershock Hits Haiti

As a United States Navy ship with aid showed up at Haiti a 6.1 magnitude aftershock hit. Patients in a hospital were praying for protection and forgiveness. Structures that were already weakened from January 12th’s 7-magnitude earthquake came down. No deaths have been reported from the aftershock yet. 72,000 bodies have been recovered since the initial earthquake.

Cat Saves Couple from Fire

A cat named Baby saved an Illinois couple from a house fire. Josh Ornberg and Letitia Kovalovsky said their cat woke them up early Monday. Ornberg tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher but couldn’t and called 911 for help. The couple is expecting twins.

Golden Globe Winner Dexter Star Michael C. Hall

Michael C. Hall won a Golden Globe for his hit show, Dexter, which airs on Showtime. The actor wore a knit cap due to his treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He thought about keeping his illness under wraps, but knew he would have to face the public eventually, so he simply wore the hat and spoke of it after the show.
